4. Purpose for processing of personal data

Registry’s purpose is to retain passenger data required by Finnish law (act on accommodation and food service, ”Laki majoitus- ja ravitsemistoiminnasta 2006/308” 6 §), enable contacts that are required for providing customer service, maintaining customer relations. Direct marketing, when it has not been prohibited by the customer.

Registry’s purpose is also to enable online business, such as conveying information about orders, invoicing, payment confirmations or processing between the merchant and the customer, with Rosala & Bengtskär Booking Office’s online store.

6. Regular sources of information

Information is collected online with Johku system’s online forms, by e-mail, or other communication channel (such as messaging apps), by telephone, letter or in person. Customers fill in / give their details in person when using Johku webshop or making a purchase by other means.

7. Transferring and handing over personal information

Information can be disclosed from the registry or from registry holder’s possession to the extent allowed or required by law. Data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

8. Data protection policy

A. Manual data

If content is printed out from the registry saved in the server, the manual content is held in locked premises. Only the registry holder and authorities as required by law have the access rights to the content.

B. Electronical data

Registry is located in Aptual Commerce Oy’s server in a protected data centre. The full registry information is accessible only to the registry holder and Aptual Commerce Oy’s technical staff. The merchant company subscribing to the Johku online service has access to personal information submited by customers using the merchant company’s Johku online store to the extent required by trade.

9. Right of access and realisation of the right of access

Everyone has the right to review their own personal data. Right of access is free of charge once a year. Anyone who wishes to have access to the data on herself/himself, shall make a request to this effect to the registry holder by a personally signed document or personally in the premises of the registry holder.

10. Rectification and realisation of the rectification

Everyone has the right to request rectification of invalid registry information. The rectification request should be made in writing and with specific enough details.

11. Other rights related to the processing of personal data

Everyone in the registry has the right to prohibit the use of their information for direct advertising, distance sales and other direct marketing, market surveys and polls, as well as for the compilation of genealogies and registers of individuals. (Information Privacy Law 30 §)

Request of prohibition as well as rectification requests should be addressed to the registry holder.
